Warranty / 24 months
24 Months on Parts and Labour
Twenty-four months or 40,000 km, whichever comes first, on parts we supply and the labour to fit them — honoured at partner shops across Canada. Most independent shops in the GTA offer twelve. Here’s the whole thing, including the parts that aren’t covered.
01 / Coverage
What’s covered and for how long
| Work | Cover | Period |

| Labour on customer-supplied parts | Labour only, part not covered | 90 days |
| Exhaust welding | The weld itself | 12 mo |
| Batteries | Manufacturer pro-rata, handled by us | per manufacturer |
| Safety Standards Certificate re-inspection | Failed items only | 30 days |
| Wheel torque re-check | Free, no appointment | anytime |
02 / Exclusions
What it doesn’t cover — stated plainly
- Parts you supplied. We’ll fit them, but we can’t warrant a component we didn’t source or verify.
- Wear items reaching their normal end of life. Brake pads that lasted 45,000 km did their job.
- Damage from an unrelated failure. A new water pump killed by a collapsed radiator hose isn’t a warranty claim.
- Collision, road debris, potholes, curbs.
- Repairs we recommended and you declined. If it’s on the invoice as declined, it’s not covered.
- Consequential costs. Towing, rental, lost income, missed appointments.
- Work altered by another shop after we did it.
- Competition use, track days, or towing beyond the vehicle’s rating.
We’d rather list these on a page you can read before you spend money than discover them together at a counter afterwards.
03 / Claiming
How a claim actually goes
Call before you do anything
Especially if you’re out of town. Work authorised elsewhere without contacting us first can’t be reimbursed — that’s the parts supplier’s rule, not ours.
Bring the invoice, or don’t
We keep every invoice indefinitely and can look yours up by plate or phone number. Losing the paperwork isn’t a problem.
We inspect at no charge
If it’s our part or our workmanship, you pay nothing. If it turns out to be something else, we’ll show you why and quote it separately.
Away from home?
The parts networks we buy through honour warranties at member shops across Canada. Call us and we’ll arrange it from here.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them. Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 gives you rights around estimates, the 10% cap and the return of replaced parts regardless of anything written on this page. Nothing here limits them.
Questions
Warranty, asked
Why 24 months when most shops offer 12?
Because we choose the parts. When you control what goes on the car you can stand behind it longer — and it makes us think twice before fitting the cheapest option available.
I supplied the part. What’s covered?
Our labour, for 90 days. Not the part. If a customer-supplied part fails, refitting a replacement is chargeable again — which is worth weighing against the saving.
What if it fails in Alberta?
Call us first. The supplier networks have member shops across Canada and we’ll set it up. Just don’t authorise work and send us the bill afterwards.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell the car?
Yes, for the remainder of the period. Give the buyer the invoice — it’s a genuine selling point.
